Vintage Designer Mixed Link Sterling Silver Chain

I love a contemporary designer with an eye to the past. This vintage DY necklace certainly is inspired by a love of Victorian chains. The mixed links recall the many iterations of the gentleman's watch chain from Victorian times. Three plain, oval, cable links alternated with long links fashioned in a rope style. The texture of the links add to the antique look of the piece. A decorative rope lobster claw blends seamlessly, joining closing the necklace at a cable link section. The closure can be worn to the front or back. The strong lobster claw can support a pendant or locket. I have shown it worn with an antique, hand made, swivel ,dog clip, which is available separately on the website. I have also photographed it with a personal collection, antique, sterling silver ,watch chain to illustrate how versitile this contemporary piece is.
