A classic Curb Link antique Watch Chain is a great staple for both antique and modern jewelry collectors. This example is graduated, with a central stationary Tbar and two dog clips.
The piece is hallmarked throughout with the Lion Passant, the definitive mark of English Sterling Silver (925 fine), and bears a Maker's Mark: W W C. for William Walter Cashmore, prominent silversmith based in Birmingham. Every element, each curb link, the Tbar and the two dog clips are stamped. The matching dog clips appear to be original to the chain.
Weighing in at 59 grams, this is a substantial piece that can easily be worn on its own, or add your favorites for a layered look. The extra bit of chain ending in a larger bale, and positioned with the Tbar provides a place to clip on a pendant or medal for another look.
