Some talismans find you. This one arrived engraved on the back with the initials CMB — a nod to its first owner.
Rectangular in form and rich in detail, this antique locket is set with seven old mine cut diamonds that so many collectors treasure. The motif is classically Victorian, seven nails in a horse shoe, a well loved symbol of luck even today. Black enamel frames the design in striking contrast, lending the piece a bold, graphic elegance that feels as current as it does timeless.
The interior is empty and ready to tuck in a photograph, a pressed flower, a lock of hair, or simply carry it as a vessel for your own magic.
In very good antique condition. There is no enamel loss evident, and the stones are lovely and bright. The engraving is crisp. The interior had no glass and there is a small bend in the picture frame on the left. Please see photo. This does not affect opening or securely closing the locket.
