Antique 14k Fancy Link Chain

A truly special piece, this antique American chain began life as a longuard, the long, elegant chains fashionable in the early 20th century. At some point in its life it was divided in half,  this section closes securely with a single dog clip and a large jump ring.

The bar and cable link pattern is wonderfully feminine and light. There is a warm blush to the yellow gold that glows softly against the skin. The textured and reflective chain mixes well with pieces of different gold content.

Wear it on its own, with one or two of your most precious charms, or layer it as the bottom chain in a curated stack. Either way, it is effortlessly chic.
